Do I need an elbow brace?
Elbow bracing is designed to apply pressure to the muscles of the forearm, taking pressure of off the injured tendon. From hyperextension, overuse, tendinitis or tennis/golf elbow, wearing an elbow brace that offers compression can help alleviate pain and speed up recovery.
What types of elbow braces are available?
There are commonly three styles: elbow bands, compression sleeves or hinged styles.
The elbow band offers immediate relief for those suffering from acute and chronic injuries affecting the elbow, wrist, forearm, and epicondylitis.
Compression sleeves offer support and improve blood circulation, relieving symptoms of tendonitis, joint inflammation, tennis elbow, golf elbow, and other elbow pain.
Hinged elbow braces provide controlled ROM (range of motion) and stabilization. These are often perscibed after surgery.
At DMEforLess we offer medical elbow braces to help relieve your pain and treat your injuries.
